About Word Game Clues
Who we are, why this site exists, and the spoiler-safe promise behind every page.
Word Game Clues is an independent site with one job: get you unstuck on today’s word puzzle without ruining it for you.
We publish fresh hints and answers every day for 17 daily games, including Wordle, NYT Connections, Strands, Spelling Bee, Pips, the Crossword, Midi, and Mini Crossword, Letter Boxed, Contexto, Quordle, Octordle, Waffle, Phrazle, the Daily Jumble, Keyword, and Connections Sports Edition. Alongside the daily pages, our word finder tools help you unscramble letters or look up words by their first letter, last letter, a letter they contain, or their exact length.
Why we built it this way
Most answer sites print the solution at the top of the page, wrapped in ads and filler. One careless scroll and your puzzle is over.
We built the opposite. Every page here follows the same three rules:
- Hints come first, gentle before generous. Each puzzle gets a ladder of hints you reveal one at a time, so you take exactly as much help as you want and no more.
- Answers only appear when you tap. The full solution sits inside a locked box. Nothing answer-shaped is visible on the page, in a preview, or in a page title until you ask for it.
- The record stays honest. Difficulty ratings are computed from the answer itself, archives show real dates and puzzle numbers, and we don’t invent facts to fill space.
Who runs it
Word Game Clues is a small independent project, run by people who play these puzzles every morning like you do. It has been publishing daily answers since 2022.
We are not affiliated with The New York Times, Merriam-Webster, or any game publisher. Wordle, Connections, Strands, and the other game names are trademarks of their respective owners. We just help you finish their puzzles with your streak intact.
